I need advice on my heat pump?
I just bought a house that was built in 1920. The house has a new Goodman heat pump (less than one year) with a digital thermostat Braeburn. I had the house for about a week, and I did not get home to heat over 61 degrees with lows hovering outside half of the 30's. (Fortunately, I started to sleep the night before). With the holidays in full swing and the costs associated with buying a house, I have extra money to spend on one type of repair to go, and I bought a house in "as is" sale, so there is no possibility of the seller to repair the problem. You have advice from anyone on how to solve this problem? I have taken some steps to remove while the cold air can come, as the closure of the fire with foam board, sealing windows and adding house is the original wood siding with vinyl siding on it.
a thermostat is somewhere, which is set at 61 degrees you turn could be the hot water tank or wall of the room or kitchen timer?
