A question about the soup cans of Warhol's Campbell?
I try to recreate a work of art with a style of Warhol, but have not met Screen Printing Inks that the artist originally used. Tempera paint is a better alternative?
Screen printing is a method of etching the template on which an image is imposed on a screen of silk or other fine mesh, with blank areas coated with an impermeable substance, and ink is forced through the mesh of the printing surface. If you try to paint, make no template or reproduction. just use acrylics or oils.
