Do I need a license to operate?
Actually I have two questions in one. I am doing freelance web design (on Craigslist to find clients, basically), do I need a business license to do this? Im in Sacramento, if that matters. I also do screen printing T-shirts, pet services (dog sitting, dog training, etc) and my boyfriend has the logo design and management of the band. We were thinking of getting a business license, but basically want to be a parent (we'll just use the name "blah blah" as an example for our real name is not stolen). So it would Blah Blah Inc. (or whatever) and then below that would be the web design Blah Blah, blah, blah, printing, logo design, blah blah blah blah services for animals etc. Do we have to obtain an operating license for each company under blah blah, Inc. or simply allowed Inc., blah, blah, and go from there? How?
Bla bla only register as a company, and include the services it offers.
