I need my dose consew sewing machine model 226R-1?
I can not get the timming, my foot walk does not move
226 Series consew industrial machines are usually sitting at a table or "to understand" with an "engine clutch" suspended below. These machines are driven by a belt. Before starting any repair, disconnect the plug from the power supply, then tip the machine back and remove the belt. This lets you turn the steering wheel (forward) and determine if it becomes easily. If you have resistance to rotation, machine may just need lubrication and cleaning of the machine have been used in a while in several of the 226 Consew models, there is a button silver in the middle of the bed of the machine. Pressing this button firmly and turn the wheel in the opposite direction (toward you) makes a device called a clutch security. You should hear a click when done. As for the running board, is a wing nut on the back of the machine near the far left, which governs the Time / lift walking foot that may have come loose. Start with this nut in the center of the slot in which it overlaps. If these tips do not help, you should take it to a repair center in your area. Good luck.
