pencil marks on silkscreen?
so i have pencil marks on my silkscreen (it came with a speedball screenprinting kit) and they won’t fucking come off. i’ve tried soap and water, windex, rubbing alcohol, etc and they won’t come off! i have ocd so it really really pisses me off.
also, i really suck at screenprinting. any good beginner guides or anything?
First piece of advice: Don’t sweat the small stuff. Those pencil marks are not going to affect the quality of the next print. If you keep trying to scrub it off, the probable result will be a torn screen, which WILL affect the quality of the next print.
This is not to say that attention to detail is not important. But it means that some details are irrelavent to the quality of the work.
If your OCD really won’t let that pencil mark remain without pissing you off, then replace the screen.
