How do I screencapture the whole questions and answers at once ? Any free program ?
I already know how to print screen with the prtsc key. and can be cut and copied in order
to put 2 captured screens into one to look like they are captured at once with scroll.
But it’s very annoying to do. What is a free program to capture internet explorer window
with “SCROLLS” ?
Where should I put the downloaded file into ?
How do I make the fireshot work ?
I downloaded the fireshot file by the 2nd answerer’s
url and got a file named “fireshot.xpi”.
Where should I put this file into? I thought it was supposed to be an installer for fireshot. Since I don’t have fireshot I don’t have the option to capture photos yet.
Use the Firefox browser with the Fireshot screen capture feature. I don’t know of any ie apps that allow you to do this. There may be something at download.com that would work with ie. See example of fireshot capture below. Click on the image to get full screen w/scrolls.
Edit: 1st create a folder on your desktop. Right click and select “New” from the drop down menu then select “folder”. A folder will appear on your desktop with the label “new folder” under the folder icon. Give the folder a name. You could call it screenshots or just put todays date in the space. That will be where you save your capured pics to. Now that you have a place to put your pics click on the 2nd link below and download and install Firefox. When you hit the download button a box should come up asking whether to run or save. Click save and if asked, indicate that the file should be saved to your desktop. When the download is complete, double-click the file and begin the installation process. Follow the step by step directions. After the installation is complete Firefox will appear in your programs list and to launch it just click on firefox. It may even put a shortcut on your desktop that you can click to launch. It’s your choice whether or not to make firefox your default browser. You can keep ie as your default browser and just use firefox when you want to capture screenshots. Follow the directions on the 3rd link pasted below to capture and save screenshots. By default I think firefox will save the file to your desktop which is ok…you simply have to drag and drop it into the folder you created. You may also have to change the name of the file before it will save correctly. You will see the type in box with a string of characters with the.jpg extention. Just type in whatever name you want.
