What you should know about burning
Another great way to promote products of printing, engraving is often confused with engraving. Although the results are similar, the process behind the two are totally different. Engraving uses either a chisel (can be a rotating blade carbide or diamond trail) or cut metal laser and other hard surface. Etching, however, use strong acids or abrasive cutting other unprotected parts of the substrate. The most common use for engraving on metal or glass surfaces.
How-To
Engraving Metals
The metal should be placed is covered with an acid resistant substance (Also called drag, usually a wax pattern.) The writer described below, the print image.
Traditional methods of exposing an image using a needle or a post of Locos by lines of slope. Today, most companies use the print medium. A negative effect of photo-ready. This image is exposed to the photosensitive surface of the metal. This step involves a metal exposed and unprotected.
The metal passes through a bath acid or an acid wash. During this process, the acid corrodes the metal, revealing a beautiful image on the surface. This process is called "bite."
Once the image has been successfully transferred to the substrate, washed with more water. Finally, the resistance is removed with a solvent.
Etching on glass
There are two ways to burn the vessel:
First, glass engravers can use acids, caustics or abrasives. In the 1920s, manufacturers the molding process developed to record the costs significantly to reducing the labor etched glass. Here, art is recorded directly in the mold so that each piece delivered its fate with the image already recorded in the crystal. This process is very dangerous acids, so most writers prefer to use abrasives. Fluorine compounds are the most widely used abrasive for glass.
The second method for etching glass is sand. The glass is coated with a model that has design of this coupe. When blasting with silicon, only the disadvantaged are engraved in the glass.
