How do you take a picture of your computer screen?
i have an HP laptop (windows 7) i dont know what a print thingy is but it seemed to come up a lot when i was searching – please help
i found the key but it doesnt work when you press it
Print screen copies the whole screen to your clipboard and works just like CTRL-C so if you press Prnt Scrn and open a program such as Paint and go to Edit and choose Paste viola your screen capture as a picture..
Now if you have multiple windows open and you want to capture just the selected window try pressing and holding ALT and Prnt Scrn and open Paint and Pasting viola you have just that window as a picture..
