Please rate "SE270D Brother computerized sewing and embroidery machine?
I want to start sewing. I be able to make curtains, skirts, casual dresses and Halloween. I like the idea of this machine, as it is also embroidery to embellish small areas. Any experience? no information whether it will be sooner? Is there a better model, or brand? + I do not want spend thousands of people. Is it too noisy? Is it too heavy? Is it easy for a beginner? Can we use the feet of specialty projects? The cards also embroidery expensive? Any information would be appreciated.
Here is the saga of my 270D: I asked my first-270D. He had a 30 day warranty. I had the RMA for return within 21 days. They sent me a replacement. This did not work. I was sent to a third party. When I opened the box, the Auto-threader arm got caught and twisted. I came home and we have a refund of the online merchant that I bought. I went to a local Walmart and bought a board. I had a lot of problems with it and the only reason I did not return, Walmart because they refused to change it. They both had an income, they refused to refund or exchange it. They very rudely told me to "deal with his brother. I'm not returned to that Walmart. No big loss, started their boycott after buying the machine, before trying to return. Never buy this machine again and I would not recommend not anyone. Now, if you decide to buy a 270D, buy from a local Brother dealer. They are more willing to help you with all the chain stores or online stores. I know people who love Thie I talked to many people in the community of embroidery and recommended some other machines. I am in the process of saving for a more expensive now. ————————— Now to answer your questions. I do not think it is higher than the average sewing machine. The mines near the computer and I want to hear the buzz my sewing machine I work with. Not heavy at all. If you need to move from one room to another, you will not have problems raising. There is a learning period for all embroidery machines. You must learn to make good combinations of stabilizers / fabric / thread / needle. I do not recommend buying a machine without joining one or two of these sites. As for the maps, ranging in price from 29.99 to 149.99 (in general). However, if you buy the base Ped can Transer models from your computer to your embroidery machine. There literally thousands of embroidery designs are available for free through the network. If you buy a machine, email me and I'll give some links free and beautiful embroidery desigs ergenecomic (all corporations) and I can recommend some good sites to buy the designs without breaking the bank. Honestly, have about 150,000 200,000 drawings and spent just to get rediculously. Be very careful when buying or download the pictures. You do not want to buy designs that could be illegal help pay a fine. Now the feet, I honestly do not do much sewing. I think it has the standard feet for embroidery, sewing, buttonholes, etc. You can read specifications brother.com of the machine to see what comes with (another great place for designs without too). I was actually in a sewing store today to buy another foot for my machine is not feet are not as expensive extras.
