My Kenmore HE3 dryer will not start, but click when I press the start button. How do I get started?
There is power in the dryer because the light comes on. I can choose a setting of drying, but nothing happens when I press the start button, except for a rattle and a whistle. No codes are displayed on the screen that indicates a certain problem should be addressed. When I take a nap under verification flashes. Then when I hit the first clicked on the button and sound (the sound of the machine when it struck home always.) The light blinks and then stops lint, but the machine will not start. Drying time is always but it will not do anything else. When I got to cancel or pause, delete the time, but does the same thing earlier when I chose a selection of dry and try to start. Clean lint filter.
It could be that you have a problem with the control panel. I hope not. I have two suggestions – both the assumption that the panel is not fried. Try unplug or power down the switch panel. This should reset the controls. Weather this works or not, make sure the dryer vent is nothing clear. I often find an obstacle flexible line, or when the results took home. I've also had situations where the tube clogged causing a cap lint in the dryer interior. Assuming you can reset the controls, you can run the dryer for one minute with the hose to see if you've won is the amount of ventilation air. Good luck, wet shorts are not fun.
