If an object is taken by the police as evidence, how long (if any) will be back?

6 months ago, my apartment in the time was raided by local police to assist the DEA. I grew up with two cannabis plants for personal use and I think the neighbors complained about the smell, which caused a research. It was not my first grow, and I refuse to accept it as the last. I am a glaucoma patient, provided by law for marijuana as a drug substitution in the State California under Proposition 215 and defined in Senate Bill 420. Anywhow attacked my apartment and grabbed my garden (where I had my medical recommendation mounted in plain site) and found about one and a half ounces of dried marijuana and a similar large-scale used to weigh the performance of my before and after drying / res is occur. That was what they had to bring charges of cultivation and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute. They took my cell phone and computer, as theyre considered as a means of distribution. Will I ever return my stuff? "I can ask for them or what?
