It depends on the number of player you are. The GeForce GT 420M graphics card can run all the current games, but only at low values for the most demanding. 8 GB of RAM is overkill for games (4 GB is the target of the right) so if you can save some money on memory and get a better video card is better. Memory is expandable on a laptop, video cards are not.
